Martin Klebba Visits the Athens Theatre Company

As previously posted, our son Alex is making his second appearance on stage with the Athens Theatre Company. They'll be performing Bye Bye Birdie this coming weekend and the following weekend (see the info below on show times and ticket prices*).

Because the opening performance is this coming Friday night, this week is designated as "Tech Week." The performers, tech crew, Miss Manfredi, Mr. Brune, Mr. Minchella, Mr. Tucker, and all of the other parents/volunteers spend hours and hours rehearsing every scene over and over and over and over...

During Tech Week rehearsals, Alex and the other students had a surprise visit by Hollywood celebrity Martin Klebba. Martin has appeared in such films as Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and Men in Black II. He is also a Troy Athens graduate and he credits Miss Manfredi with the path he followed in life.
