Marty Knollenberg is Running for Mayor of Troy

Former State Representative Marty Knollenberg posted the photo above on his Facebook page. He and his wife Lori are pictured at the Troy City Clerk's office on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 as he files to run for Mayor of Troy. According to his Facebook page, Marty is the first person that has filed to run for Mayor.

While he hasn't asked for my endorsement, I believe he would make a fine Mayor of our City. Of course, since I'm not viewed positively by many of the Tea Party folks in Troy, he probably doesn't want my public endorsement.
