I Survived the 2012 Free Press Half Marathon

A record 24,000 people took part in the 2012 Detroit Free Press/Talmer Bank Marathon last Sunday. I ran in the International Half Marathon -  my 3rd half.

It was quite a sight to run over the Ambassador Bridge as the the Sun was rising and then running through the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel (referred to as the Underwater Mile). Click here to view Twitter and Instagram photos from this year's race.
