Open Troy to be Launched in December

Compliments to the Troy City Council for proposing additional transparency in the operations of City Government. Also, kudos to City Manager John Szerlag for quickly following up on the Council's proposal.

Szerlag has distributed a memo on the new Open Troy (transparency in government) web page. According to his memo, Szerlag expects the web page "to go live by mid December."

The site will include:

1. Check register
2. Purchasing contracts
3. Salary and benefits
4. Bargaining unit contracts
