Alex's 2011 Troy Athens Cross Country Season

This was our son Alex's first year running Cross Country at Troy Athens High School. He had a great time. So did we!

All of the students on the team are great kids. They were very supportive of Alex in his first season on the team. We also noted how important the parent volunteers were (and are) in making this a great experience for the student athletes and the families.

Today was the "official" end of the season when the Cross Country Team held its annual banquet. Alex was honored as one of the four recipients of the 2011 Troy Athens Cross Country Team's Most Improved Award. It was very nice of the coaches to give him this honor. Obviously, we're very proud of our son!

Last but not least, we want to acknowledge the Cross Country Coaches. Thank you Coach Michael Stallsmith and Coach Shawn DuFresne. We really appreciate your hard work and excellent coaching of our son.
