Abortion
A woman is having a lot of stomach pain and goes to the hospital. The doctor says that she is pregnant. She has 3 choices. She can keep the baby, she can choose to have the baby and put it up for an adoption, or she can choose to abort the baby. If the mother chooses to have an abortion, I believe that the mother made a big mistake.
You may be thinking that it’s the mother choice and it’s none of our business or isn’t abortion the safest way to resolve an unwanted pregnancy? It really is the mother’s choice, but the real question is: ‘is the unborn a member of the human family?’ According to the Life Training Institute (http://www.prolifetraining.com/index.asp) “if so, killing him or her to benefit others is a serious moral wrong. It treats the distinct human being, with his or her won inherent moral worth, as nothing more than a disposable instrument,” says Scot Klusendorf, a pro-life advocate. That means that if people think the unborn baby is really a person, then the mother should not be able to choose the baby’s destiny.
Twenty-two percent of all pregnancies in America (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion. Did you know over three thousand abortions take place each day? (http://www.worldometers.info/abortions/) All those babies killed in one day. All that potential gone, all that life gone and all those people gone. Those babies could have had wonderful lives, started families, maybe even become the one who changed the country for the better. All because a mother doesn’t want to have to care for a child.
I believe that abortion is the worst way to resolve an unwanted pregnancy. Abortions kill babies who didn’t even get a chance to live life at all. There are people who have had abortions and after the abortion was done they became to depressed and angry with themselves and regretted even thinking about having the abortion. So if you have the choice of life or death, there is hope. Please choose life for all those innocent babies because nobody deserves death if they didn’t even get a chance to live on earth yet.
