My Dad's Many Careers

I've been going through old photos and biographical information to prepare for my Dad's funeral. I discovered that during WWII he was in the Military Police. He had many jobs during his working life. As a child I remember that most of that time he worked at Van's Photos in Lansing.

His last job was as the manager of Munn Ice Arena at Michigan State University. He retired from that job at MSU in 1986.

Here's a 1986 photo of my Dad at the party to celebrate his retirement from Michigan State University. My Dad's on the left. On the right is the current manager, Tom Campbell.
