As mentioned a few days ago, the City Manager has issued a 6 year Restructuring Plan. You can read it at http://bit.ly/2S2EZJ.
This is a good time to go to the taxpayers and ask them what level of taxation they want in order to support services like a library and a museum.
any time,,with any one,,on any subject, that conserns This GREAT CITY
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that they would put the Library first on the list. The Library has done so much for people and have brought in awards to make the city proud, and this is a pressure tatic to get the people to vote in a millage for it. Why not clean out the City Hall first, and let us not have double dipping in any jobs. No more all in the family jobs either. And tell the police union to stop arguing for more raises until the economy is back in place. We know they do a good job but, if people are losing their jobs, we have have to take that into consideration. Also cut back on how we spend money on the Public Relations Dept. DPW can handle the extra recycle boxes and would be easier to get to than the second floor of the City Hall.
ReplyDeleteI do NOT believe the city wants any real input,,as seen manys times at council..WADE says "seems one or 2 people Speak...THX.WADE<,maYBE THOSE few,,talk 4 hundreds of people.,, " .who cannot be made fun of,,BY YOU. as those teabaggers,,march on BRICKs representing DEAD Americans,,will be pushed aside..YOU will be 2.
